for larger version       Ralph Pryce Ralph Pryce, a longtime Rockaway resident, died March 16. He was 83. Pryce, an accountant, was born in Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies on September 19, 1924. He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Agnes Anne Taylor Pryce; and sister, Winifred. Pryce is survived by daughter, Vinette Pryce; adopted daughter, Ashley; spiritual daughter, Sharnel Murray; surrogate daughters, Colleen Ahmed, Sonia Thomas and Patricia "Patsy" Auxilly; grandchild, Kahlil Goodwyn; three sisters; one brother; sisters-in-law, Ivy Hamilton, Nellie Green and Mary Chandler; beloved friend and nephew, "Bunny" Hamilton; nieces-in-law, Claudette, Althea and Fay; Vena Baker; friend, Vincent Codner; Vera Caines and the Epiphany Lutheran Church family.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Jeremiah C. Gaffney Funeral Home. Visitation and services were held at the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Epiphany in Laurelton. Interment was at Pinelawn Cemetery in Farmingdale, New York.
