Detectives from the 101 Precinct Squad are searching for this man, who allegedly mugged a 78-year-old woman who was entering the Capitol One Bank at 17-39 Seagirt Boulevard at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 26. The man walked up to the victim and snatched her purse, knocking her to the ground, police say. The unidentified woman was taken to Peninsula Hospital Center, where she was treated for minor injuries to her right hand and knee and was then released. Anyone with information on the granny basher is asked to call Crimestoppers at 800-577-TIPS (8477) or the precinct detective squad at 718-868-3429.
