Thanks to Peninsula Staff
(The following letter was originally written to Robert Levine, the Chief Executive Officer at the Peninsula Hospital Center) Dear Editor,

On Saturday, February 23, 2008, I was brought to Peninsula Hospital Center's Emergency Room. Little did I know that I would be admitted, need surgery and spend

the next eight days

in your hospital. The purpose of this letter is to congratulate you on your wonderful staff. A few people who really stood out are the following: Danielle Gallagher - ER nurse; Dr. Spiecher, Eileen McDonald, Jeff Papkis, Danny Baaty and Carlene - Radiology; Willie Carr- Nuclear Medicine; the staff on all shifts from 3 North (especially Rowena - RN); the staff on all shifts from the Telemetry Unit (especially Jennifer McMahon - RN; another Jennifer-RN; Rose - RN) Manny - NA and Jadwiga Domitrz - NA and an angel); Dr. Grossman, Dr. Li and Dr. Mehlman- my heroes all. A special note of thanks to all the residents, interns and students who were so kind. I wish you all well in your calling, for what you do truly is a calling. Thank you also to the OR and Recovery Room staff and especially Betty Butler - RN.

I have named many people but they are only the tip of the iceberg. My only regret is that I don't have everyone's name. I can honestly tell you that there wasn't even one person whom I could offer a complaint about. I know it would take some work on your part, but I would appreciate if your office could manage to get a copy of this letter into all employee files for the staff who worked between February 23,2008 and March 2, 2008.

Again, congratulations on a wellrun facility and outstanding employees. To the staff - thank you all from the bottom of my heart

God bless you all.

THERESA KING
