PS/MS 225 Honors African Leaders

The Association of Black Educators of New York (ABENY) honored the recipients of their first African leaders essay competition on February 10. More that a dozen students from PS/MS 225 participated in the competition. Safeta Krcic, an eighth- grade student, was awarded a $50 savings bond for writing a motivational essay about the life of Nelson Mandela.
