Rockaway Stars Lead Archbishop Molloy To JV Title

The Archbishop Molloy girls' junior varsity basketball team defeated St. John Villa to win the CHSAA city championship on March 11. They also repeated as the Brooklyn/Queens diocesan champions a week prior in a victory over St. Francis Prep, 46-33. Co-captain Kathryn Edwards was one of the players who led Molloy to a 23-2 record this year with her fine point guard and leadership skills. Taylor Conroy, another local talent, also contributed to the team's success with her shooting and rebounding. Congratulations to the teams for their great season.
