Click Here for More Information Sorrentino Center Holds 3-on-3 Tournament The Sorrentino Recreation Center has just begun hosting an exciting basketball tournament. The Sorrentino Recreation Center Three-on-Three Full Court Basketball Tournament began on March 13 and will continue every Thursday at 7:15 p.m. The regular season ends on Thursday, May 22. Eight teams will be participating in the tournament, which is for ages 17 and up. Each team has 5 members. The tournament will be a double elimination with the playoffs becoming a single elimination. Games will consist of two 10-minute halves in the regular season. In the playoffs, games will consist of two 15- minute halves. Baseball Clinic/Registration The Sorrentino Recreational Center has announced that they will be honoring the 2007 Health Plus/PAL/Parks and Recreation Queens Little League baseball champions and runnerups on April 12. The Sorrentino Recreational Center will also hold on that day a free baseball clinic for boys and girls from the ages of 8 to 12. Boys from the ages of 13 to 15 can also participate. Registration for the 2008 Little League Baseball season will begin on April 12. Sign-ups will include the 12 and under co-ed division and 13 to 15 years old boys division.
