Peggy Boyle Championships

The Tenth Annual Peggy Boyle Basketball Tournament is coming to a stirring conclusion this Saturday, March 15 at St. Francis de Sales gym.

The tournament has been a great success thus far as it expanded to 32 teams, the largest field in its history.

Saturday's championship slate will begin with Good Shepherd taking on St. Thomas More for the Subnovice title at 1:00 p.m. St. Francis Gold hosts Our Lady of Grace in the Pee Wee final at 2:15.

The Novices follow at 3:30 with St. Thomas More facing Our Lady of Hope. At 4:30 p.m. there will be a special awards ceremony recognizing players on St. Francis teams who have exhibited outstanding sportsmanship throughout the year, and to thank some long time contributors to the success of the tournament.

Games resume at 5:00 p.m. with the Bantam championship between St. Francis and Our Lady of Hope. St. Margaret battles St. Thomas More at 7:15 in the Rookie division, and it wraps up with the Intermediates at 8:30 p.m. pitting Long Beach Catholic against St. Stans.

It will be a fun and exciting day of great basketball, so come down to the St. Francis gym to see whop will be this year's Peggy Boyle champions.
