for larger version       William Alfred Lyons William Lyons, a 31-year Rockaway Beach resident, died March 3. He was 59. Lyons, a chauffeur, was born in Rockaway Beach Hospital on October 21, 1948. He was preceded in death by his son, William; and father William A. Lyons. Lyons is survived by his wife, Helen; son, James; daughters, Tracy and Raina; mother, Marilyn; brothers, Edward and Jimmy; sisters, Marilyn, Patti, Christine, Joanne and Evelyn; and grandchildren, Anthony, Joseph, Kailey, Peter, Thomas, James and Nicole.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Cassese Funeral Home in Ozone Park. A funeral mass was celebrated at the St. Mary Gate of Heaven Church. Interment was at Cypress Hills Cemetery in Brooklyn, New York.
