for larger version       The Holocaust And The French Almost in passing, I recently came across a statement by French President Sarkozy about the importance in the 21 century of remembering the 11,000 French school children exterminated during the Holocaust. Let us hear again from the far, far right fringe, from the Bushes, Cheneys and Rumsfelds of this world, about 'Old Europe' and those 'cowardly' French and how they wouldn't know anything at all about things like war, insurgencies, invasion or occupation. I am sure it would play well to the ghosts of these children and to any of their parents who survived.
