SUNY New Paltz Announces Dean's List Fourteen residents of the Rockaways were named to the fall 2007 dean's list at State University of New York at New Paltz. The following students earned at least a 3.3 grade point average while attending full-time: William Cohen, Nicholas Hanson, Patricia Killian, Matthew Monath and Thomas Touhey of Belle Harbor; Danielle Porcella and Emily Frohnhoefer of Broad Channel; Maria Rodolis, Ginette Maitre, Teikesha Jackson and Nichole Skotak of Far Rockaway; Ryan Ford of Rockaway Park; Jennifer Parker of Arverne; and Angelica Snyder of Rockaway Beach. New Paltz is a selective college of about 7,800 undergraduate and graduate students located in the Mid-Hudson Valley between New York City and Albany.
Degrees are offered in the liberal arts and sciences, which serve as a core for professional programs in the fine and performing arts, education, healthcare, business and engineering.
