for larger version       Margaret Cho Brings Comedy To Wesbury Comedian Margret Cho, who just wrapped up a wildly successful run of her Sensuous Woman burlesque style variety shows, has announced she will return to her stand-up roots with her brand new, one-woman show called "Beautiful." This is her first eagerly anticipated tour in three years. Hailed as "Murderously funny" by the New York Times, Margret Cho is one of the most prolific and critically acclaimed comedians of our time. She's successfully launched four national tours, turning each into a concert film. Her groundbreaking one - woman show, "I Am the One That I Want," became a best- selling book and a concert film that grossed more pre print than any film in history. And the CD of her Revolution Tour was nominated for a Grammy in 2004!
As a true entertainment pioneer, Margret hosted last summer's inaugural True Colors tour, a 16- city music festival in support of the HRC. She has also created and starred in "The Sensuous Woman," a live variety show featuring vaudevillian burlesque and comedy, which she took for an off- Broadway run last fall.
