Queens Teen Library Seeks Literacy Instructor

The Queens Library Adult Learner Program seeks a part-time instructor for an adolescent literacy class at the Queens Library for Teens in Far Rockaway. The class, which serves ages 16 to 24 with below sixth grade reading level, begins March 31.

Those interested in applying must possess a BA and at least two years of successful basic literacy experience with young adults; a master's degree is preferred; experience integrating reading and writing activities into all class activities, which will include technology, financial literacy, and job readiness.
