Meeting Held to Protest Redfern Center Closing

Councilman James Sanders Jr. will hold an emergency meeting to protest the closing of the Redfern Community Center on Wednesday, March 19 at the Peninsula Hospital Center, located at 51-15 Beach Channel Drive, from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., in the Meditation Room.

The New York City Housing Authority has said they will close the Redfern Community Center due to budget cuts.
