Ted Manno
Salesman

Ted Manno, a 33-year resident of Bayswater, died February 16. He was 91.

Manno was born in Brooklyn. He served in the U.S. Army with the 8th Air Corps, 446th Bomb Group, and flew 35 missions over Europe during World War II as a Radio Operator in a B-24 Liberator. He worked as an Industrial Scale Salesman. He was also a St. Mary Star of the Sea Church usher and sports committee member, CYO swim coach, PAL baseball coach and Bayswater Civic Association security patrol member.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecilia and Antonino Manno; seven brothers; two sisters; and wife, Georgiana.

Manno is survived by his children, Barbara DiPietro, Anthony Manno, and Tara Manno Richer; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Interment was at Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn. All other arrangements were kept private.
