for larger version       Stephany Kane Stephany Kane, a lifelong Rockaway resident, died February 29. Kane, a retail worker, was born in the Bronx. She was an active member at St. Rose of Lima, Catholic Daughters and St. Vincent de Paul Society. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold W.; and son John Kane. She is survived by her daughter, Katherine Padula; grandchildren, Stephanie Schneider, Adrienne Williams and Carolyn Castellano; and great-granddaughter, Danielle Williams.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Denis S. O'Connor Funeral Home, with visitation to be held on Friday, March 7, from 7-10 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 8 at 9:15 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church. Interment will be at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Valhalla, New York.
