Overturned Truck Blocks Traffic
 | | Eastbound traffic on Beach Channel Drive was blocked off for a time late Tuesday morning after a Lily Transportation Truck turned over on its side at the intersection of Seagirt Boulevard and Beach 35 Street, heading onto BCD. A spokesman for the FDNY reported that the driver of the truck refused transport to the hospital. Police and LIPA personnel also responded to the scene. The accident did not affect power to the area.
