FRHS Salutes Black History With Exhibit

Hyrgedene Barnes, a member of the Black History Committee at Far Rockaway High School, holds the attention of several students as she talks about the exhibit's farming display.
S. Venui points out a picture of noted Black Nationalist leader Marcus Garvey mounted on a reproduction of the African Flag. Garvey inspired the flag's colors of red, black and green.
