Five Taken To Peninsula Hospital After House Fire

Nearly 60 firefighters were sent to battle a third floor apartment fire at 162 Beach 96 Street last Thursday, according to FDNY sources. Three civilians suffered minor injuries and two firefighters were treated for smoke inhalation at Peninsula Hospital. According to reports, the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
