Chamber of Commerce Dinner Dance Fundraiser
The Chamber of Commerce of the Rockaways celebrated "The Year of the Past Presidents," at a Dinner Dance Fundraiser which was held on February 7. Nearly 250 people attended the event that was sponsored by FPL Energy and National Grid / Keyspan, on the gold level; North Fork Bank; The Wave; and WellCare on the Bronze level. Brian McGovern, a new member of the Chamber, served as MC; Tim Tubridy, of Broad Channel, was the DJ; and Alan Camhi, Board President and Linda Plummer, Secretary served as event co-chairs.
