Congratulations go to the Bishop Kearney Indoor Track Team on their winning performance at the tenth annual Coogan 5k Race through the historic streets of Washington Heights in New York City, this past weekend.

Sophomore sensation Meghan "Hollywood" Hayes, ran an outstanding time for the 3 mile race - 21 minutes and 20 seconds. Meghan's time is second on Bishop Kearney's all-star team.

Following closely behind Meghan, were teammates Mary "The Rockaway Breeze" Gallagher and Sarah Donahue, who both ran a personal best in a time of 22 minutes and 5 seconds. Captain Tara "the Belle Harbor Babe" Mullen ran a gutsy race to secure the team title.

Kristy Khoury and Patti Ann Vazquez finished strongly amongst the 5000 competitors. The team was awarded trophies for their accomplishment.

Coach John Lovett said it was a terrific team effort. The performance by the team was just another example of how well they have done. It was a fitting end to the indoor season.
