Proudly Carry An Irish County Flag

For the first time this year, the Queens County Irish Parade will host all of the Irish county flags. While the ladies of the Ancient Order of Hibernians (LAOH) have sufficient volunteers to carry 25 of the banners, seven additional volunteers are needed for the county banners and four volunteers are needed for the province banners, a total of 11 additional volunteers in all.

Those who are interested in volunteering to carry a banner in the Saturday, March 1 parade are asked to report to the start of the parade route at Newport Avenue and Beach 129 Street at noon. Ask for either John Murphy or John Brennen.
