Operating Engineers Recruit Apprentices

The International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 30, will conduct recruitment on March 6 and March 7 for 50 stationary engineer apprentices.

Applications can be obtained at the local, 115-06 Myrtle Avenue in Richmond Hill, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Completed applications must be returned and postmarked by March 14.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old; hold a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma; take an aptitude test ($25 fee applies); have reliable transportation; and be physically able to work.
