100 Precinct Awards Cops Of The Month

The 100 Precinct Community Council awarded two transit district officers, cop of the month honors after they put an 11-time offender back behind bars, arresting him near the Beach 67 train station on February 20. The 18-year-old offender illegally used a student Metrocard and attempted to bribe the cops with $900 to free him. The 100 Precinct Community Council honored two detectives from the Queens Narcotics Bureau for January's Hammel Houses drug bust that led to 34 arrests and 10 search warrants. The presenting Sergeant Brian Stamm, commended their diligence and perseverance for bringing an end to the six month investigation.
