A Far Rockaway vault teller was busted by Nassau County officials this week for allegedly taking $4,500 home from work in a series of separate incidents.

Trimeka Crum, 26, was arrested on Wednesday inside the Bank of America branch located at 15 Hempstead Gardens Drive in West Hempstead, for allegedly cutting open cash deposit bags and taking money on nine different occasions dating back to December 18, 2007.

Crum, who lives at 622 Gipson Street, has been charged with third degree grand larceny and first degree fraud.

She was apprehended by Nassau County Crimes Against Property Squad detectives Edward Harsch and Ronald Schepis, who walked Crum out of the Bank of America branch in handcuffs.

Crum was scheduled to be arraigned in Nassau County First District Court in Hempstead this week.
