Belle Harbor Boys Win President's Weekend Hockey Tournament

Local boys Chris Moore, and Kevin & Luke Erhard, who play for The Greater New York Stars out of Abe Stark Rink in Brooklyn, won the Mite division championship this past weekend in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The team was able to record a perfect 5-0 record in the 3 day tournament against some of NY, NJ, & Pa.'s talented youth hockey players. Behind the goaltending of Luke and the defensive play of Chris Moore & his partner Kevin Erhard the Stars were able to limit the opposition to just 6 goals over 5 games. The Stars were recognized by some of the other respected youth hockey organizations of other states as being one of the best Mite teams they've come across. Children interested in learning to skate or to play hockey where Kevin, Chris & Luke learned can do so at Abe Stark Skating Rink in Coney Island or by logging onto GNYCIHL.COM
