Walter Zingman
Retired Printer

Walter Zingman, a Rockaway Beach resident, died February 13.

Zingman served in the U.S. Army during World War One. Following the war, he returned to printing and obtained his B.A. at City College. He was a member of the Seaside Jewish Center and the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. He also served as a little league coach and volunteer member of the NYC Police Auxiliary.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ester Remin.

Zingman is survived by his wife, Rita Zingman (nee Zucker); three children; two daughters-in-law; sister-inlaw; and five grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were kept private.
