for larger version       Theresa R.Hipwell Theresa Hipwell, a 22-year Rockaway resident, died February 20. Hipwell, a claims adjuster, was born in Brooklyn. She served in the U.S. Army. She is survived by her friend, Athena Simos; nephews, Chris, Mark and Craig Simos; niece, Nicole Simos-Barry; great-nieces and great-nephews, Casey, Ashley, Renee, Alexandria, Madison and Nicholas Colin.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Denis S. O'Connor Funeral Home, with visitation to be held on Friday, February 22, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-10 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 23 at 9:45 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales. Interment will be at Cypress Hill Cemetery in Brooklyn, New York.
