for larger version       Pauline McNeil Pauline McNeil, a longtime Rockaway resident, died January 30. McNeil was born in Rowland, North Carolina on May 1, 1916. She was a member of St. John's Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Deloris Kidd, Carolyn Parker (Eugene), Peggy Cannon, Sarah Davis (Jimmy), Joseph and Joyce McNeil; daughtersin law, Mazie McNeil and Kimberley Boutelle McNeil; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; five great-greatgrandchildren; sister, Dorothy Skyes; brothers, Willie and Nathaniel Smith; sister-in-law, Reather Thomas; cousin, Juanita Fulmore; dear friend, Nettie McKines; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jeremiah C. Gaffney's Funeral Home, with visitation and services at Gaffney's Friendship Chapel. Disposition was by Oxford Hills Crematory in Chester, New York.
