for larger version       Keep Our Boardwalk Clean I've been walking daily on the boardwalk, from Beach 81 Street to Beach 126 Street, for the last 25 years. I am totally disgusted and in total disbelief regarding the matter of dog waste on the boardwalk. The most dog waste I've seen is between Beach 111 Street and Beach 126 Street. There is even dog waste on benches facing the ocean. It is bad enough to see dog waste on all our beautiful beaches; but now, it's even on the boardwalk. Why aren't the pooper scooper laws enforced? Why are dog owners not responsible enough to clean up after their pets? I see them daily walking dogs on the boardwalk on the above mentioned streets. It's disgusting. Where is the Parks Department? Who are the people who should be ticketing dog owners? What happens to people who sit on this waste because they don't see it? Wake up Rockaway! Save our earth and our environment.
