for larger version       Wesley Virgil Kendrick Wesley Kendrick, a longtime Rockaway resident, died January 28. He was 48. Kendrick was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on October 10, 1959. He was a member of the Corinthian Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Lydia; and brother, John. Kendrick is survived by his wife, Gloria Shand-Kendrick; daughter, Adrianna Bryanna Shanice; stepdaughters, Nichola Bryan Lincke, Ava Gaye Bryan, and Olivia Bryan Smith; step-sons, Nayib and Sergeant Everton Bryan Jr.; grandchildren, Chamaine, Genessa, Chyan, Sierra and Everton Bryan III; sisters, Gloria Flower (George), Burnetta Riley, and June Mason (David); brothers, Norris, Julius Roscoe (Ginger), Carl (Teresa); and many family members and friends.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jeremiah C. Gaffney's Funeral Home, with visitation and services at Gaffney's Friendship Chapel. Interment was at the New Crown Cemetery, in Indianapolis, Indiana.
