Response To Clifford Howard How fitting that New York State inmate Clifford Howard's letter ranting about the evils of "Law Enforcement" be followed by a letter written by councilman James Sanders Jr. to Commissioner Ray Kelly requesting more police officers for his constituents. Mr. Howard doesn't identify the reason he is a guest of the New York State Penal System. To be a prisoner upstate, one must be guilty of a felony; a felony being a crime punishable by more than one year in jail. As he doesn't deny his guilt or explain the lack of "law enforcement" credibility as it relates to him, I have no choice but to doubt Mr. Howard's credibility. I have no idea how old Mr. Howard is and I wish him well in any rehabilitation that I hope he would seek.
