Rosalie L.Smith
Business Representative

Rosalie Smith, a 37-year Rockaway resident coming from Stuyvesant Town, died January 25.

Smith, born in Manhattan, was a retired business representative of New York Telephone. She was also a member of the senior group at St. Francis de Sales.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Smith; sisters, Mary Rafferty and Elizabeth Craven; nephew, James Flanagan; and greatnephew, John Rooney.

Smith is survived by her sister, Julie Flanagan (Alexander); nieces and nephews, Judith Rooney, Jean Bagley, Richard Flanagan, and Marybeth Goldberg; great-nieces and - nephews, Kevin, Allison and Brian Bagley, James, Patrick and Alexander Goldberg.

Funeral arrangements and visitation were entrusted to the Denis S. O'Connor Funeral Home. A funeral mass was celebrated at St. Francis de Sales Church. Interment was at St. Raymond's Cemetery in Bronx, New York.
