Harrison was born in Mount Moriah, St. Ann, Jamaica, West Indies on November 27, 1918. She was a member of the Presbyterian Russell Sage Memorial Church. She was preceded in death by Ernest Bancroft Harrison. Harrison is survived by her children, Carol Brown, Valerie Campbell, Livingston Mitchell, Hugh, Kezinton, Yvette, Chester and Hope Harrison; grandchildren, Adrienne Harrison, Tiffany Campbell, Bridgette Harrison, Miles Saunders, Shari Campbell, Ashley Harrison and Kristoph Harvey..
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jeremiah C. Gaffney's Funeral Home. Services were held at the First Presbyterian Russell Sage Church. Interment was at the Pinelawn Memorial Park, in Farmingdale, New York.
