Gerton Named Nurse Manager

St. John's Episcopal Hospital has appointed Norma Gerton, RN, MSN, CFNP, to the position of Nurse Manager of medical/ surgical unit, Tower 10.Gerton has a wealth of experience as a nurse manager, having worked for Birgham and Women's Hospital, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, and Massachusetts General Hospital, all in Boston. She was also a member of the clinical faculty of the University of Massachusetts. Recently she held a position as registered nurse/educator at Arcadia Health Services in Weymouth, Massachusetts and Tampa, Florida.
She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Curry College in Milton, Massachusetts, an advanced certificate of graduate study in cross-cultural nursing from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and a Master of Science degree in nursing /family nurse practitioner from Northeastern University in Boston.
