Meta Senhouse, a longtime Rockaway resident, died January 14. She was 87.

Senhouse, a homemaker, was born in St. Michael's, Barbados on October 6, 1920.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Edna.

Senhouse is survived by her daughters, Marion and Wende; brother, Clayton; grandchildren, Curt, Julia, Michelle, Jean-Paul and Keri-Ross; and great-grandchildren, Chloe, Alaysha, Marquis, Kelsey, Cameron, Brynn, Adele, Andre and Ian.

Funeral arrangements and visitation were entrusted to Jeremiah C. Gaffney's Funeral Home. Services were held at the First Church of God. Interment was at Rosemont Cemetery in Linden, New Jersey.
