Retired

Harold Doyle Sr., a 56-year Broad Channel resident, died January 17.

Doyle was born in Ridgewood, NY. He was a member of the U.S. Navy, Knights of Columbus and the Telephone Pioneers.

He was preceded in death by his wives, Gertrude (nee Reilly) and Gloria (nee Santa-Horn).

Doyle is survived by his children, Harold Jr., Suzanne, and Reverend Thomas Doyle; and grandchildren, Caitlin, Ernie, Brianne, and Megan.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Hillebrand Funeral Home. Services were held at St. Virgilius Church. Interment was at Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton, New York.
