Maurice Rupert Andrew Agrippa

Maurice Agrippa, a longtime Rockaway resident, died January 11. He was 66.

Agrippa was born in Georgetown, Guyana on October 20, 1941. He worked with the New York City Board of Education. He taught Spanish in several high schools and ESL at Lehman College.

He is survived by his wife, Lucienne; Son, Maurice; daughters, Marcia, Adeola (Merle) and Gillian; grandchildren, Joshua, Samuel, Daniel, Jeremiah, and Joseph; and other family members and friends.

Funeral arrangements and visitation were entrusted to Jeremiah G. Gaffney's Funeral Home. Visitation and services were at the Restoration Temple in Brooklyn. Interment was at the Rosemount Cemetery in Linden, New Jersey.
