SJEH Hosts Nutrition For The Kosher Home
More than 50 people came to hear Daniel Buff, M.D., Chief of Nutrition and Gerontology, St. John's Episcopal Hospital, speak on "Nutrition in the Kosher Home" on January 16, 2008, at Agudath Israel of West Lawrence. Dr. Buff's talk was humorous, knowledgeable and engaging. In addition, two nutritionists, Rosie Rubin, R.D., Bishop McLean Nursing Home, and Karen Kahn, R.D., also spoke. The program was co-sponsored by St. John's Episcopal Hospital and the Jewish Community Council of the Rockaway Peninsula.
