Edward A.Spaeth
Truck Driver

Edward Spaeth, a 40-year Rockaway resident, died January 3. He was 70.

Spaeth, a fuel truck driver, was born in Brooklyn. He was a member of the Veteran's of Foreign Wars, The American Legion/ post 1404 and St. Virgilius Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Monahan Spaeth; grandson, Matthew Spanburgh; parents, Margie and Joseph Spaeth; brother, Joseph; and sister, Barbara.

Spaeth is survived by his sons, Teddy, Vinny and Robert Spanburgh; 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Donald and Terry Spaeth.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Hillebrand Funeral Home. Interment was at Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton, New York.
