Click Here for More Information Another Police Execution I wanted to get this letter to you in order for you to run it at the same itme, I am sure, you will run a frontpage story on the murder of another young black man in New York City. After reading your newspaper for years, I am sure that you will treat this murder as a victory of the police. After all, we all know that Ronnie Smalls was a gangbanger and a thug. Right? Wrong! Smalls was a man who had made some poor choices and was trying to get himself straight. The police, however, had targeted him because of what he had done in the past and because of his family history. That is not right. He did not deserve to die just because he was walking on a street in the early hours of Saturday morning, nor even because he was carrying a gun. The question that nobody seems to be asking is why the police stopped him in the first place. They had no probable cause to do so and were therefore breaking the law of the Constitution by stopping him. Since all that happened after the stop came from an illegal act, then the police who shot him should be arrested and prosecuted. The Wave always takes the side of the police, but I hope you print this letter. KAREEM JOHNSON
