Prejudice Reduction Program Volunteers Needed

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program is looking for volunteers for their award-winning Prejudice Reduction Program. They are looking for people, who are at least 55 years of age, who have an interest in diversity issues, have good communication skills and like working with children, to volunteer in school classrooms for grades K-5. Group Leaders volunteer one day a week for 4 hours while Team Leaders work 2-4 days a week for up to 16 hours. Training, transportation reimbursement and accident insurance are provided for all positions. The next information sessions are February 1, 2008 and February 6, 2008.
