Flood, a homemaker, was born in Manhattan. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Flood. Flood is survived by her husband, Hugh J. Flood; children, Thomas, Kathleen Smith, Sheila Roohan, Neil, Margaret Callahan, Hugh, Mary Roohan, Patrick and Timothy; sisters, Catherine Finn, Mary Darcy, and Therea Bradley; 28 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements and visitation were entrusted to the Denis S. O'Connor Funeral Home. Services were at St. Camillus Church. Interment was at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, New York.
