A destructive fire in 1892, truly affected the people of the Rockaways. It ruined a Summer Resort, Seaside Museum, along with the peaceful mood. This should remind us that once something is gone it can be rebuilt only with the right amount of imagination and commitment. Just like The Wave. As we prepare our New Year's resolution for 2008, let's not forget, that our beautiful writers and historians of The Wave, created an oasis of information for the readers of the Rockaways. We shall say - Thank You.
