Kyle McCullough is the second leading scorer for the Aces with 14 goals and eight assists. There may have been a snowstorm outside Saturday night, but the Brooklyn Aces heated up the ice inside Aviator Sports with a 4-2 win over their chief rival, the Jersey Rockhoppers.
James Brannigan, the Aces top scorer, hit the net with his 18th goal of the year early in the second period, and Eddie Neville was almost perfect in goal, stopping 28 of the 30 shots that the Jersey team put on net. The Aces, with 9 wins, lead the Eastern Professional Hockey League (NPHL). The next home game for the Aces is January 15 against Hudson Valley.
