Efforts by The Wave and City Councilman Walter Ward are about to lead to the installation of a traffic light at
Beach 19 Street and Seagirt Boulevard, Far Rockaway. Ward reported this week that the city's Department of Traffic has promised him that a light will be installed.
Queens detectives are trying to find a car belonging to a man whose body was found in Rockaway on December 7. The murdered man was Charles Zorbe, 45 and he was a newspaper delivery truck driver. The car, a 1977 Ford Thunderbird bore New Jersey plates 517FDZ.
