SJEH Hosts Emergency Preparedness Drill
The staff of St. John's Episcopal Hospital prepared for an emergency by holding a drill on Thursday, December 11, 2008. During the drill, which was based on the scenario of a blizzard that blanketed the New York City region, most hospital departments were tested for their preparedness for a major surge of patients.
"St. John's Episcopal Hospital takes emergency preparedness very seriously," said Chief Operating Officer Patrick Sullivan and the drill's incident commander. "We try to be ready for the more likely contingencies in order to be able to serve patients and community in times of need," he added.
