EMS Assists Homeless Woman To Shelter


With the temperature falling and the windchill index below zero degrees, paramedics from the city's Emergency Medical Service transported an unidentified homeless woman, who had been sleeping in front of the subway station on Beach 116 Street in Rockaway Park, to the Peninsula Hospital Center for treatment. The woman was then reportedly sent by authorities to a homeless shelter in another part of Queens.
