Maralyn Kaufman… It Does Matter
In answer to the shareholder and exboard member who wrote to The Wave (November 7 edition) I quote. "It no longer matters how we got to this place, we must now take the necessary steps to prevent the further hemorrhaging of our co-op and move forward." Well my fellow share holder, it does matter. We, the shareholders, want to know what happened to the overborrowed money from the bank, what happened to water bill money, what happened to the thousands of bricks that disappeared between 8400 and 8600, and why the brick work on 8400 was never started.
I wonder why our annual president's report for 2008 was never signed. Stop blaming other board members, you were on the board while all this was happening. It does matter, and we don't need an increase, we need an investigation. And to all shareholders, who agree, write to The Wave and express your opinions and keep writing to the Commissioner, C. Walpert, HPD, 100 Gold Street, Room 9-Z, New York, New York 10038. It does matter.
