BCHS Dolphins Stun PSAL With Win Over Curtis

The Beach Channel Dolphins shocked the New York City high school football world last Saturday afternoon. The #15 seed in the 2008 Public School Athletic Playoffs shocked the #2 seed and defending champions, Curtis High School, 8-0, in Staten Island. On a rainy day, the Dolphins jumped out on top in the first quarter on a 41-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Benjamin Burrello to Devon Moore. The lone touchdown of the game stood as the valiant Dolphins held the high-powered Warriors offense away from the end zone. Beach Channel will have another tough battle, facing the top seed Port Richmond Red Raiders in Staten Island on Saturday at 12 noon. More details inside in the sports section.
