Right to Life
Our nation is constantly debating a woman's right to choose an abortion. Most of us feel that, in many cases, a woman should, along with her doctor, decide the suitability of termination of a pregnancy.       Mayor Mike Bloomberg has found an even more insidious way of getting your hard-earned money. His administration is working on a plan to charge customers a nickel for every plastic bag they use to pack up in any store - from supermarkets to bodegas - beginning next year. Better not double-bag, or it will cost you a dime.

It's My Turn
Joel Klein's Reign Of Destruction
The Department of Education under Joel Klein has been run like a ruthless dictatorship - with no input from parents or educators, and no thought of how the policies he has imposed on our schools have been destructive to our children and their futures.

Ken's Math Korner
Why Is Math So Hard?
I firmly believe: Success in math is attainable for all! One reason why students find math to be hard is because it is often not taught correctly, and for the most part, not studied correctly either. The key to success in math is building a strong foundation upon which to grow. Math needs to be learned step-by-step, topic by topic.
